New employment possibilities have been made public by the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department of the Punjab Provincial Government. With financial support from the World Bank, P&SHD Punjab is carrying out the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project. Applications are being accepted for the project's appointment of paediatricians and lady health visitors. After completing FSc Pre-Medical, Lady Health Visitors must be validly registered with Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC). The appointment will follow the current Government of Punjab Contract Appointment Policy 2022. Applications for paediatrician positions must be submitted by MBBS/MDs with FCPS paediatrics, MRCPs, or other similar credentials. Candidates who have an MBBS and a postgraduate degree, such as an MCPS, as well as one year of appropriate postgraduate work in a recognised institution before and after graduation are also welcome to apply. There are a combined 207 openings for Lady Health Visitors and 15 for Pediatricians. Both Tehsil Headquarters Hospitals THQs and District Headquarters Hospitals DHQs are currently hiring for these positions. Applications must be submitted online by October 24, 2022.
