Singapore Government Scholarship 2022/23 – Fully funded

SINGA is a fully funded scholarship for international students pursuing a Masters, Masters Leading to a PhD, or Direct Ph.D. after completing a four-year undergraduate degree programme. All expenses will be covered by a Singapore Scholarship. The world has been waiting for fully funded scholarships. You will attend the best universities in Singapore. You will also be eligible to study in Singapore without having to take the IELTS exam. Singapore Government Scholarship 2022-23 applications are now being accepted as part of the Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) 2022-2023 programmes. It is a government-funded Government Scholarships 2022-23 initiatives that allows overseas students to study in Singapore. Because this is a government scholarship programme, no application fee will be collected. The courses will be delivered in English. The Singapore government has given out around 950 scholarships. Over 29,000 applications from over 170 countries were received. The Singapore Government Scholarship 2023 is described in full below.

How many scholarships will be given out?

240 scholarships will be awarded by the Singapore International Graduate Award.

Coverage for Scholarships:

  • Tuition in its entirety
  • After completing the Qualifying Examination, the monthly stipend of S$2200 will be enhanced to S$2,700.
  • One-time airfare grant of up to S$1,500* 
  • One-time S$1,000* settlement allowance

Fields of Study:

The SINGA scholarship is accessible in the following disciplines: biomedical sciences, computing and information sciences, engineering and technology, and physical sciences.

Universities with affiliations:

Singapore Management University (SMU), Nan-yang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and Nan-yang Technological University (NTU) (SMU).

Criteria for Eligibility:

  • All foreign graduates with a love for research and strong academic accomplishments are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent written and spoken English abilities; favorable ratings from academic referees
  • GRE, IELTS, TOEFL, SAT I & II, and GATE scores
  • The submission of IELTS / TOEFL / SAT I & II / GATE scores is optional, and the institution may request them later for admission.

Documentation is required:

  • Before applying, please prepare the following papers. DO NOT SEND ANY HARD COPIES TO THE SINGA OFFICE. All required documentation must be supplied online.
  • Passport: A recent passport photograph (in .jpeg or .png format)
  • Reports and transcripts: ALL transcripts must be translated into English.
  • Academic Bachelor's and/or Master's degrees Bachelor's Degree certificate(s) / scroll(s) or a letter of certification from the university on your candidacy if your degree certificate/scroll has not yet been bestowed
  • 2 Recommendation Reports: 2 Recommendation Letters (to be completed and submitted online by the referees).
