WAPDA Introduction:
The
Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority is an autonomous and independent organization of the Federal Government of Pakistan in charge of the state's
water and power utilities. It was founded in 1958 by an act of parliament
following the country's independence.
WAPDA
owns Pakistan's largest dams and actively controls and operates the Pakistani
Commercial and Domestic sectors' demands and needs. It also intends to build
five more multi-dimensional dams to meet the expanding demands of the electricity
sector.
WAPDA's mission is to provide tidy and clean energy that is cheap to Pakistanis in order to reduce electricity tariffs while keeping customers in mind. The firm has a self-governing network that spans the whole country.
Eligibility Criteria:
Army
Retired Officers are eligible to apply for Deputy Director Vigilance positions.
Candidates for other roles must have a Middle, Matriculation, and Appropriate
Diploma, as well as experience in the relevant sector. The age limit is
established at 18 years old minimum and 30 years old maximum. In these roles,
experience will be valued since merit will be pursued and assured by
management.
